HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION

Please click on the apartment you would like to stay in on our website. Then you can enquiry about the apartment's by clicking on Check Availability. You will be asked to provide us your contact details and our staff will answer you within 24 hours giving you information on price and options.

RESERVATION PRE-PAYMENT AND DEPOSIT

  • We do require a pre-payment to hold your reservation.You are requested to make a reservation pre-payment for the 20% of the apartment cost by bank transfer or online internet transfer. For long term rentals different charge may apply.
  • When booking you must specify the exact number of people that will make use of the apartment. The exact number of guests given upon reservation should occupy the flat. Apartment occupancy should never exceed the stated number of guests assigned to it, except for babies under 2 years old.
  • Pre-payment of reservation deposit should be by bank transfers or by credit card on www.moneybookers.com through a safe online system. The rest of the rent should be payed by cash on the arrival date or by bank transfer one week before arrival. For credit card payment and bank transfers you will recieve instructions after enquiring.
  • This pre-payment reservation will not be reimbursed under any circumstances. In case of cancellation no refund will be made on the pre-payment. However, you will be able to change the dates of your rental period subject to availability on the same apartment, and 7 days in advance.
  • Please note that the booking will not be confirmed until Budapestlettings has received the pre-payment amount and you have received a confirmation e-mail.
  • On arrival you will also be asked for 100 euros as a deposit against damage made during your stay. In case that you book an apartment for 30 nights or more, you will be asked to pay 500 euros as deposit. The deposit payment should be made in cash, and will be returned in full when you leave the apartment, assuming it is undamaged of course!
  • High season: June, July, August, Xmas, Easter and special events as Formula 1 Grand Prix etc. The price in high season can increase up to 25%. • We have a two nights minimum reservation policy for all apartments.

ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES TERMS

When you are booking an appartment , you select a date for the check-in and a date for the check-out. Once the reservation is made, you have the right to stay in the apartment until 11 AM the date that you selected for the check-out.Check in after 8:00 pm or before 8:00 am or in sundays or bank holidays will have an extra charge of 10 euros.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE PROCESS

  1. Together with the confirmation reservation e-mail, Budapestlettings will send you an e-mail containing all the information you need upon the arrival: apartment address and contact telephone number in order to confirm your arrival time in Budapest.
  2. You are requested to reply as soon as possible with the time of your arrival in Budapest, in order to allow our staff or the owner of the apartment, to meet and give you the keys upon arrival.
  3. On the arrival date, please call to the contact number informed, either from the airport terminal, train station or if coming by car, 30 minutes prior to your arrival. This will allow our staff or the owner to be at the apartment at your arrival.
  4. When you arrive at the apartment, our staff will be waiting for you at the agreed time. We will show you how the equipment works and give you the apartment keys.
  5. Then you will be requested to pay the rest of the amount charged for the whole period of accommodation in cash, or by bank transfer one week prior to your arrival. You will also be requested to pay a security deposit of between 100 to 400 Euros against damage made during your stay. Payment will be made in cash, and will be returned in full when you leave the apartment, assuming it is undamaged of course.
  6. Please, contact us during business hours for restaurant recommendations, directions if lost or general questions regarding either the apartment or Budapest. We can also book a taxi for you on your departure date, if requested in advance.
  7. A member of our staff will be at the apartment at the agreed time to:
    - Collect the apartment keys.
    - Return the refundable deposit minus any damages which may have occurred
  8. Loosing the apartment keys has a charge of 30 euros. The apartment shall be cleaned prior to the arrival of each guest. When leaving, the guest is obliged to leave the apartment in a reasonable condition.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Should the client cancel a reservation, the reservation pre-payment will not be reimbursed under any circumstances. However, you will be able to change the dates of your stay and the choice of apartment at your convenience, depending on availability. Should Budapestlettings apartments be unable to provide the client with the property he has booked, it will have the right to transfer him to a property of similar characteristics. If no agreement is reached each contractual party is authorised to cancel the contract. In this case Budapestlettings apartments will refund the client all monies paid. (except the part corresponding to the days that the apartment was used, if this were the case). Budapestlettings apartments will not be liable for further claims by the client.

BEHAVIOUR

The client signing the rental agreement will be liable for the correct and decent behaviour of all the persons accompanying him/her. Should that person, or any of the persons accompanying him/her not behave in a suitable and responsible way, Budapestlettings apartments shall be entitled to request the client and the persons accompanying him/her to leave the apartment without the right for the latter to claim any type of compensation. In case of any infringement of the aforementioned obligations, Budapestlettings apartments at its sole discretion will be entitled to req uest the client to leave the apartment, and the client shall have no right to claim any type of compensation.

LIABILITIES

Budapestlettings apartments nor the owner of the apartment shall be liable for any direct or indirect damages that may arise as a consequence of the use by the client of the apartment, including without limitation, damages, insurance, losses because of fires, robbery or criminal behaviour.

LEGAL NOTICE

Access to any information on this Web Site is conditional on your acceptance of the General Conditions, and the rest of information shown in the other parts of this Web Site. All bookings are subject to availability and e-mail confirmation by Budapestlettings apartments.

CANCELLATIONS

In case of cancellation no refund will be made on the pre-payment. However, you will be able to change the dates of your rental period subject to availability on the same apartment, and 30 days in advance.

CHANGES

Any modifications to a booking (dates, number of people or apartment) are possible always 30 days in advance arrival, but are subject to acceptance by Budapestlettings apartments and entail a management charge of 20 euros. In case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances (unscheduled building works, water damage,…) Budapestlettings reserves the right to transfer the client to an apartment of similar characteristics. In case the client doesn't agree with the new proposed apartment, he has the right to cancel the booking and receive a total refund. Budapestlettings will not be liable for further claims by the client.
